We produce the annual Every Little Thing Festival in support of wellness and mental health.

The event was created in memory of Diva Gibson, who sadly lost her life to suicide on the 10th May 2020.Her mother, Sinead Gibson, continues to work tirelessy in her efforts to support those with mental health issues, as well as anyone else who needs help.

The thinking behind the event is to provide a totally safe, supported festival, where people can learn more about mental health care, suicide prevention, and receive help if needed.

Should The Next James Bond Be Black?

The media and entertainment industries have been accused of having a tokenistic approach to casting, but what does it actually mean to be more representative and how can we do better to get it right?

We produced this event hosted by award-winning journalist Afua Hirsch, to explore the key differences between representation and tokenism and respond to the all-important opening question- “Should the next James Bond be Black?”

Other guest speakers included, Clint Dyer and Adjoa Andoh.

The Impact of Racism

A seminar on racialised trauma, featuring a full screening of the film, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom plus Q&A, followed by a discussion on the research and application of racial trauma in the UK.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is a sophisticated portrayal of racial trauma and the narrative is analogous to the experience of people in the UK for whom the impact of racial trauma has been made invisible and social inequalities attributed to factors other than racism or racism in an abstracted way.

The event host, Hári Sewell, is an academic, lecturer, trainer, author and system change professional on race and mental health for three decades.
