Adrian Grant
Producer/Writer
Adrian Grant’s career in the entertainment and media industries has spanned over 30 years as a producer, publisher, artist manager and author with a wide portfolio of work from magazines and books to music, film and theatre.

Adrian had an amazing 20-year working relationship with Michael Jackson, which led to him creating 'Thriller Live', a show seen by over five million people worldwide, and becoming the 12th biggest West End musical of all-time.



Adrian also produced the West End show, ‘Respect La Diva’, and the UK tour of ‘The Aretha Franklin Songbook’.

Prior to his work in the theatre, Adrian published two national magazines – Shades and Blink. Shades was the UK’s first youth culture & lifestyle publication to focus on diversity and representing stories from marginalised groups.
In October 2017 Adrian received the Image Award at the Black British Business Awards for setting a record of excellence and making a lasting, significant and positive contribution to the standing of people of African and Caribbean heritage in Britain.
In 2019 Adrian launched the Visionary Arts Foundation aiming to inspire positive social change by empowering young creators to use artistic platforms from film, music and theatre to literature and digital media as a sound board for discussion and debate around issues such as racism, equality, mental health awareness, youth crime prevention and the climate crisis.
Running alongside the work of the Foundation, Adrian produces the annual Visionary Arts Awards which celebrates inspirational culture, media and entertainment.

In October 2020, Adrian was named Best Producer for 'Thriller Live' at the Black British Theatre Awards, and the show also won Best Musical Production.

Adrian is currently producing two new shows. 'A Story of Hope', which tells the story of England's first female manager, Hope Powell. And 'I'm Every Woman - The Chaka Khan Musical', which will have it's world premiere in March 2026, at the Peacock Theatre, London.
